Cuando yo busqué este lugar los primeros que me decían eran mi familia: pero cómo vas a ponerlo allá? Esa área es muy peligrosa."  Pero no sé, siempre he confiado en que las cosas cuando uno las hace bien, pues resulta. Y sí, empecé aquí y entonces empecé a conocer la gente, pero nunca nunca he tenido un problema con nadie, ni una mala experiencia.  Al contrario, hay gente muy amable, gente que le gusta conversar, y la verdad que nunca tuve miedo. Sí me decian que la área estaba mal, que había muchas pandillas y eso, pero yo desde que he estado aqui no he visto eso.

En esta área hay mucha gente de El Salvador, Guatemala, mucho Centroamericano. Mexicanos también.

Pues mi negocio más o menos se le puede llamar Outlet Store, tenemos mucha ropa nueva pero también usada, accesorios para dama y caballero, bolsas, zapatos, un poco de todo.

Translation:

When I was looking for a location my family was the first to say: 'but why would you start a shop there? That area is very dangerous.' But, I don't know, I've always felt confident that when you do things right you see results. And so, I opened here and I started getting to know people, but I've never ever had a problem with anybody, not even one bad experience. On the contrary people around here are very nice, they like chatting, and to tell you the truth I've never felt fear. Sure people would tell me that it's a bad area, that there were a lot of gangs, but since I've been here I haven't seen any of that.
