Riverfront District Implementation Manager
The administration of the grant that funded the creation of this plan has been led by the EWDD, resulting in meaningful interagency collaboration. The NELA Riverfront Collaborative was formed to design, engage, and develop the Vision Plan. To ensure that planning leads to implementation, the next logical step to is to create a position within the department that will continue collaborative efforts in NELA.
The proposed Riverfront District Implementation Manager would help coordinate implementation efforts across different public-private funding opportunities and development projects. Additionally, this position would also spearhead all interagency collaborations within the City and ensure the various policies and programs are aligned with the Vision Plan's recommendations. As the point person for NELA Riverfront District-related efforts, there will also be a need to create a system for sharing information with public, private, and community partners.
