Ken Burns' & Lynn Novick's 'The Vietnam War' on PBS is one month away!
One month from today, PBS will air a new epic documentary: ‘The Vietnam War’—a film co-directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. This piece will show a 360-degree view of the war, and bring us stories from voices we often don’t hear from: veterans, and activists; refugees, and Gold Star Families—and many voices in between.
Over the next couple months, we’ll share stories about Southern California’s connection to the war. And, we’ll ask you to share stories of your own. Pay attention to this space as we’ll be updating it soon and often with requests for anecdotes and photos, and stories from the SoCal community. (And, if you allow, we'll share your stories and photos with your fellow SoCal residents.)
Also, if you haven’t done so already, please follow us on your favorite social platforms! We can be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
