circles for hypnotizing performances filled with irresistible lyrics,
transcendent harmonies and roof-raising instrumentals. They have toured
together since 2008 and have won many awards including "Best Instrumental" for Buttonwillow in the 2012 Great American

the fireside tradition, Bettman & Halpin portray intricate scenes ranging
from vibrant to haunting, to stories that inspire and uplift.
"I
describe our music as 'rootsy' because
it springs from the traditions of American blues, jazz and folk," said
Stephanie Bettman. "Our music is also contemporary and our lyrics come
from present-day conversations about what it is to be human in the world
