Commercial bee keeper David Hackenberg first alerted the world to Colony Collapse Disorder. A phenomenon that mysteriously wipes out whole hives of bees. Scientists are currently researching CCD and the jury is still out on what is causing it. David believes it may be environmental stresses, like pesticides affecting the bees.
