Currently there are over 700-thousand Dreamers, undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as minors, raised in American communities and living American lives. Since 2001, when the Dream Act was proposed, Congress has not been able to come up with a long-term solution. Now, a March 5th deadline soon approaches to come up with a permanent fix and protect DACA holders from deportation.
