Doc Martin Launch Event at Consulate General Residence

KCET celebrated the seventh season premiere of the network's most-watched comedy series DOC MARTIN with two fundraising events. The first was a private party on January 10, 2016 in Pasadena with a high tea at Connie Holguin's historic home. Pasadena's Wendy Anderson, Georgianna Erskine, Connie Holguin, Sandra Burton Greenstein, Mic Hansen, Diana Peterson-More, Betsey Tyler and Maria Low Way lifted a glass of champagne to honor actor Ian McNeice, who plays the character Bert Large in DOC MARTIN, and enjoy high-tea provided by Rose Tree Cottage's Edmund and Mary Fry. Additionally, a fundraiser was hosted by the Los Angeles British Consul General's Residence on Mon., Jan. 11, 2016 in partnership with BAFTA, Pleasant Holidays, and the Beverly Hilton. LA's British Consul General Chris O'Connor gave an introductory toast alongside BAFTA LA's Sandro Monetti, KCETLink Media Group's President and CEO Michael Riley, and special guest McNeice. McNeice introduced an exclusive sneak peek of the all-new season for guests. Also in attendance were Marion Ross (“Happy Days”), Emmy award winning news anchor Val Zavala and the reporting team from KCET's flagship news series SOCAL CONNECTED.
