Cities of Light: The Rise and Fall of Islamic Spain Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. PST on KLCS
Take an epic journey into one of the most captivating periods of world history: a centuries-long period during the Middle Ages when Muslims, Christians and Jews inhabited the same far corner of Western Europe. The lemon tree, the water wheel and Aristotle's lost philosophy all arrived in Europe through Islamic Spain, as did algebra and the beginnings of modern medicine, science and poetry. Tune in or stream.

Latino Americans, War and Peace and The New Latinos
Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST, respectively, on KLCS
Learn about Latino American history from WWII, when Latino Americans were serving in the war but still faced discrimination at home, until the 1960s, which saw the arrival of many immigrants from Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Tune in or stream.
