This month’s Lens On Life screening, the of Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez (CD 13) is teaming up with the Los Angeles Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America for a truly special screening of Luis Buñuel’s classic film, The Discreet Charm of the "Bourgeoisie" (1972). The film is a starting point for an interactive conversation about class, capitalism, and the film’s relevance to today’s political landscape. Show up in your best surrealist costume, and enjoy a night of film, conversation and fun.
