A poco art collective presents "L/Womb: A Soft Place Where Life is Breathed Into" and invites audiences into an intimate, living archive of woven breath, suspended bodies and sacred tenderness. This exhibition gathers artists whose practices engage with weaving, ritual and ancestral memory — moving between mythic, ecological and material realms to explore grief, healing and intergenerational transmission. Centered around fiber, breath and care, the exhibition draws inspiration from the Chinese myth of the Weaver Girl (织女) and the Cowherd (牛郎), celestial lovers allowed to meet once a year by crossing a bridge of magpies across the Milky Way. In 2025, Qixi — their reunion — falls on August 29, setting the cosmic tone for this exhibition of longing, return and invisible labor. Through tactile materials and slow-making practices, these five artists weave personal and planetary mythologies —
reframing the loom and the womb as sites of spiritual gestation.
