Hiawatha Bradley Named Director of Creative Services for KCETLink

BURBANK, CA-August 13, 2013-KCETLink announced today that Hiawatha Bradley,

a designer and award winning filmmaker, has been named as the company's new Director, Creative Services. 

Mr. Bradley will be instrumental in developing the overall creative

strategy for KCETLink and its media services KCET and Link TV, including

design, branding and on-air promotions. 

Previously he served as a creative consultant for Link TV in San

Francisco. He reports to Ariel Carpenter, Vice President, Communications.

"Hiawatha's expansive knowledge of media and its use and implementaion in

supporting organizational goals and engaging audiences will add significant

value to our efforts in building a public media company for the 21st

century," said Paul Mason, KCETLink's Chief Strategy Officer.

Mr. Bradley has spent his career crafting

successful promotions and branding across television, web, and print platforms

for commercial and non-profit clients. Mr. Bradley's career began in New York

with film projects for WNET and WNYC TV. For the last five years, he has taken

a hands-on role with promotions for national broadcaster Link TV, crafting the

channel's "look and feel" to realize operational goals and build emotional engagement

with the station's passionate and growing audience.

Link TV Mr. Bradley has led the branding for high profile campaigns including Viewchange, a partnership with the Bill

and Melinda Gates foundation; the weekly half hour news series LinkAsia; and most recently was

responsible for branding the Link TV World News for the iPad, which debuted as

the number one news app in the App Store on the week of its launch. Mr. Bradley

has a bachelor's degree in Communications from Southwestern University, a Master's

Degree in Communication Design from Central Saint Martin's University in

London, and is a past lecturer at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He has

had his work shown at the ICA in London, Hypefest, Onedotzero, The Palm Springs

International film festival, and more.
