KCET Announces New Tuesday and Thursday

Night Lineup in the New Year

Burbank, Calif. - Dec. 29, 2014 - KCET, the nation's largest independent public television station serving Southern and Central California, is shifting its Tuesday and Thursday night programming lineup beginning Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.

KCET's Tuesday night lineup will now feature the vibrant arts and culture landscape in Southern California and beyond with the Emmy® award winning series,ARTBOUND (8 p.m.); music performance series, ARTBOUND PRESENTS: STUDIO A (9 p.m.); world music video series, BORDER BLASTER (9:30 p.m.); and urban walking series, CITY WALK (10 p.m.). EARTH FOCUS will follow the arts programs at 10:30 p.m., investigating the latest environmental developments that impact our world.

Beginning Thursday, Jan. 8, KCET will broadcast viewer favorites in a weekly one-night block that will air from 8-10 p.m. with minimal interruption, which includes: beloved comedy DOC MARTIN, light-hearted detective series DEATH IN PARADISE and the Irish coming of age comedy, MOONE BOY.

In addition, KCET is moving award-winning Israeli comedy ARAB LABOR to Friday nights, beginning Jan. 2 at 10 p.m., with back-to-back episodes.
