"What full’s me is part outrage, part love," says Esperanza Community Housing CEO Nancy Ibrahim. For 20 years, Ibrahim's organization has been trying to help low income families in South LA deal with the very real dangers of lead poisoning of their children. As many as 4000 children in LA County have detectable lead levels in their blood according to the County Dept of Public Health.
