ELDERLY NEW YORKERS AT RISK
A conversation with Citymeals on Wheels Executive Director, Beth Shapiro, about how that organization is nourishing vulnerable older New Yorkers during the coronavirus outbreak. Citymeals has prepared 145,000 meals so far for distribution across the five boroughs. The homebound elderly, already isolated and frail, are particularly at risk for food insecurity.
