It turns out millennials – or those born between 1985 and 1996 – as defined by New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer, are significantly worse off than the generation before them. In fact, the job market they entered several years ago during the Great Recession was similar to that of the Great Depression, or at least according to Scott Stringer.
