Former US Ambassador Discusses Career & Dismissal Part 1
The son of missionaries, Scott Gration grew up in the Congo before the 1964 uprising forced his family to flee to Uganda. As a young man, he joined the US Air Force, where he narrowly escaped death twice - he survived a near-crash over San Antonio and the 1996 Khobar Towers terrorist attack. He writes about all this and more in his autobiography, Flight Path: Son of Africa to Warrior-Diplomat.
