In 2015, separate attacks in Paris against the Charlie Hebdo magazine and the Bataclan Concert Hall left close to 150 people dead. That was followed by suicide bombs in Brussels and the Bastille Day attack in Nice, on crowds gathered to watch fireworks and celebrate the independence of France on July 14th.
