WalkaboutNYC: A One-Day Exploration of New York's Tech Scene

Shawn Liu and Danny Wen own Harvest, a company that helps workers keep track of their time. They founded WalkaboutNYC three years ago as a way to indulge their own curiosity about other tech companies’ offices. This year, over 1,800 participants had the opportunity to attend open houses at the offices of 55 tech companies during New York's Internet Week.
