Egypt on the Edge

After a tumultuous week in Egypt, we bring you continuing live coverage from Al Jazeera English News. Plus, correspondent Brian Rooney, who has covered the Middle East for ABC News will take a look at the events that led up to the announcement that President Mubarak would not seek another term and the subsequent violent clashes in the streets of Cairo and Alexandria. UCLA School of Law Professor Khaled Abou el Fadl joins anchor Val Zavala to discuss the history of repression in Egypt and the wider geopolitical implications of the revolution there. We also have analysis of the role new media has played in the revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt from Andrew Lih, director of new media at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism.
