Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) wants to pass the ROBOCOP (Repeated Objectionable Bothering of Consumers on Phones) Act. She wants to require phone companies to provide robocall-blocking tools for consumers. Fraud and spam calls are still a problem despite the creation of the National Do Not Call Registry.
