TTC Extra: Rep. Speier & Contraception in the Military
Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) has a plan to give women in the services access to contraception. There is a higher incidence of unintended pregnancy in the military, and Speier says that this is because women in the services are less likely to have access to contraception. She wants women in the armed forces who need contraception to have a year's supply on hand so they can use it when far from base.
