New 'Foyle's War' Episodes Premiere July 7 on KCET
Fans of British World War II drama "Foyle's War" will be happy to know that new episodes are on their way!
Set along the South Coast of England in the 1940s, "Foyle's War" is a gripping drama chronicling detective chief superintendent Christopher Foyle's (Michael Kitchen) attempt to apprehend criminals who are taking advantage of the confusion the WWII has created in England. This upcoming fifth season of Foyle's War follows Foyle, the straightforward sleuth who fights his own battles on the home front while World War II rages across Europe. A year has passed since Foyle abruptly resigned from the Hastings Police, and his former colleagues are still struggling to adjust to life without him. While Foyle plods away on a writing project, Sergeant Paul Milner (Anthony Howell) is contemplating leaving the force; and Samantha "Sam" Stewart (Honeysuckle Weeks) is at loose ends after having been fired by Foyle's replacement, the irascible DCS Meredith.
The new episodes begin Sunday, July 7 at 8 p.m. on KCET.
