Huell samples some tasty frozen specialties imported from Mexico and Singapore.

Tuesday @ 7:30PM -- "Amador County Fair"
Huell travels to Plymouth California to visit the Amador County Fair. This fair has all the great food, rides, and entertainment you'd expect so what sets it apart is its incredible living history displays. There is a wheelwright shop, steam powered sawmill, and even a Miwok village where you can visit with members of the tribe and learn about their beliefs and traditions. Another fun event is the daily tractor parade filled with antique farm equipment chugging down the main street.

Wednesday @ 7:30PM -- "Whitewater Preserve"
Huell visits the Whitewater Preserve located near Palm Springs. This 2,851-acre oasis is surrounded by the Bureau of Land Management San Gorgonio Wilderness and is part of the Wildlands Conservancy's 33,000-acre Sand to Snow Preserve System. An old trout farm and lodge-turned-visitor-facility are found on the premises. There is also a picnic area, group campground, and a trailhead that is only a half mile from the Pacific Crest Trail in the San Gorgonio Wilderness. This is truly a hidden gem!
Thursday @ 7:30PM -- "Lemon Lily Festival"
The Idyllwild Lemon Lily Festival highlights the rarity of one of the city's most precious native flowers. Tag along with Huell to spend the day celebrating this beautiful yellow flower that only grows above 4,000 feet.

Friday @ 7:30PM -- "Cotton"
California is the fifth largest cotton-producing state, while the San Joaquin Valley is the heart of California cotton country. Huell spends a day in Buttonwillow, which calls itself the "Cotton Capitol of California" and has a great time out in the fields. For historical purposes, he picks cotton the old-fashioned way, and then steps into the future and learns about a new, state-of-the-art cotton gin.
Saturday @ 5:00PM -- "Mt. Wilson"
Founded in December of 1904 by George Ellery Hale, Mount Wilson Observatory quickly rose to dominate astronomy worldwide. The Observatory hosts several of the most technologically advanced facilities in the world and is home to the 100-inch Hooker telescope. In this one-hour special, Huell spends the day at this magnificent location that's not only historic, but plays an important role in California's scientific research.
