Owner of the South Korean Sewol Ferry Found Dead (LinkAsia: 7/25/14)
Yoo Byung-eun, the head of the family-owned company that operated the stricken Sewol ferry, was found dead this week. The South Korean public's faith in the government has fallen to new lows following the Sewol incident. Many are skeptical that Yoo really is dead and the corpse really is his.

A culture of cosy personal ties that can blur the lines between businesses and those regulating them, of profit over safety, and soft courts is in focus as South Korea demands answers over the sinking of the ferry with the loss of more than 300 lives, mainly high school students.
