At-Home Learning Tips
Make Time to Play!
Research shows that creative and physical play is a crucial part of children’s cognitive and social-emotional development. Playtime can incorporate a wide range of activities, including building a pillow fort in the living room, playing hide and seek, and make-believing a restaurant or grocery store with mom and dad as the customers. Where to Spot SoCal’s Coastal Wildlife
Did your child watch the “Wild Kratts” episode on sea creatures and now they want to know more about them? Walk them through the images and videos in this article so they can learn more about ocean dwellers, such as seals, dolphins and coastal birds.
