Africa’s Great Civilizations: The Cross and the Crescent Tuesday at 10 a.m. PST on KLCS
The second hour of "Africa's Great Civilizations" charts the emergence of two powerful forces of global change, Christianity and Islam. Viewers will learn how pervasively "the Cross and the Crescent" reshaped the landscape and people of Africa between the first and 12th centuries A.D. — and for centuries to come.
Genius by Stephen Hawking: Can We Time Travel? Tuesday at 11 a.m. PST on KLCS
World-famous scientist Stephen Hawking sets a series of fun physical and mental challenges for three ordinary people. Can they think like a genius? This is a show where as you watch you realize you actually understand concepts that you never thought you would. In this mind-bending episode: Can three volunteers work out if time travel is possible?
