A 2nd Annual Urban Renewable Energy Summit: Community Power Starts with Energy Efficient Solutions is coming to Hollywood Park’s Retail Promenade in April 2026 to raise awareness about clean energy opportunities for South Los Angeles residents, businesses, colleges and property owners. The free community event will gather experts from throughout the energy efficiency field to offer a microcosm of the potential – inspire attendees to envision what’s possible – for the region.
The event expects to draw 400-500 attendees to the one-day summit. In addition, participants can attend an outdoor community resource expo, and three expert-led panel discussions.
Presented by Minority Renewable Energy Project of California (MREP-CA) in partnership with the County of Los Angeles, Emerald Cities Collaborative, and SoCal REN
