Join fairy Christa and the magical and animal inhabitants of FernGully as they fight the humans who are trying to destroy their rainforest home and the evil spirit of Hexxus who feeds off of pollution. This animated classic takes you back to the good old days of hand-drawn animation, complete with musical numbers! Pre-movie activities include crafts and trivia. FernGully is rated G and suitable for all ages.

Cinema Botanica is a nature-themed outdoor film series, presented in California Botanic Garden’s magical Forest Pavilion.

Every paid ticket includes a free popcorn with optional native plant infused topping (flavors coming soon)!

Non-alcoholic drinks and additional popcorn available for purchase.

Doors open at 7 PM for pre-movie trivia and craft activity, movie starts c. 8 PM (or as soon as the light conditions allow). CalBG will provide folding chairs, but please feel free to bring your own comfy camp chair if you prefer.
