Containing Matter considers the vessel as both object and body, a structure shaped by what it holds, absorbs, preserves, and releases. Drawing from ancient vessel traditions, migration routes, geological formations, waterways, and the physical language of the human body.

The closing reception for the Containing Matter solo exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Chidi Ukwuoma is taking place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
