Corita Kent: The Sorcery of Images brings together over 1,100 images from her 15,000 35mm slide archive in a large three-screen projection at the Marciano Art Foundation’s Theater Gallery. Revealing a little seen part of Corita’s artistic practice, these images give a rare and intimate view into her life as an artist and a beloved teacher in the art department at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles in the 50s and 60s.
