Celebrate the closing day of the special exhibition, "Jeffrey Gibson: the space in which to place me" with The Broad Museum. Co-presented with The Chapter House, get inspired by Jeffrey Gibson’s bold colors and creative use of beadwork to make your own one-of-a-kind piece. Explore a freeform beading activity designed by artist Kimberly Robertson (Mvskoke) as we mark the closing of this powerful show which Forbes described as “…a joyous explosion of color mixed in masterful patterns that incorporate Indigenous craftwork and traditions as well as text and titles resonant of US history and American pop culture."

Family Weekend Workshops offer free activities and workshops to engage with the art on view in the museum. Workshops give families the opportunity to make their own artworks to take home, inspired by the Broad collection. Family Weekend Workshops are free with advance ticket reservations. Walk-ups without reserved tickets may be accommodated, pending capacity.
