Friends of Residential Treasures: Los Angeles (FORT: LA) presents Frame the Future: A Ceremony and Celebration on Wednesday, April 29 at The Ebell of Los Angeles—an evening spotlighting bold public-facing ideas about the future of housing in Los Angeles. Developed as a citywide call for submissions, the initiative invited architects, designers, artists, and thinkers to “sell” their vision for housing through compelling posters, slogans, and short manifestos. The resulting exhibition brings together a wide range of perspectives—from pragmatic to provocative—offering a vivid snapshot of how Angelenos are grappling with one of the city’s most urgent challenges.

The evening will feature a public exhibition of selected submissions, live readings from participating voices, a panel conversation reflecting on key themes, and a closing awards presentation announcing the winning entries. Guests can also take part in a special “Future Wine” experience, pairing wines with the ideas shaping tomorrow. The event begins at 5:00 PM, with programming at 6:00 PM and a social hour to follow. Tickets are $25, with an optional wine upgrade. Frame the Future reflects FORT: LA’s ongoing mission to energize, educate, and connect Angelenos through the dynamic stories of our built environment—this time by amplifying the voices imagining what comes next.
