The Roundhouse Aquarium invites the community to Hope on the Horizon: Protecting Marine Mammals in a Changing World, a free, all-ages presentation featuring Dave Bader, Chief Operations & Education Officer at Marine Mammal Care Center.

With more than two decades of experience in informal science education, Bader has played an integral role in developing and managing educational programs and holds degrees in marine biology and biology with an emphasis on educational media design.

During the presentation, attendees will learn about the remarkable work of Marine Mammal Care Center, including how its team rescues, rehabilitates, and releases marine mammals. Bader will also explore how each patient provides a window into the ocean's changing health and offers an inside look at the challenges facing Southern California’s marine ecosystem.
