Some of the best stories in Los Angeles are hiding in plain sight — on grocery shelves, behind deli counters, in the produce aisle. This October, KCRW’s Good Food and Grocery Goblin invites you to spend an evening among them.

After an incredible launch, KCRW’s Good Food and Grocery Goblin are back with installment #2 of Stories In-Store — and this time, we’re cracking open the ultimate culinary building block: EGG!

On Sunday, October 18th, we’re taking over Highland Park’s beloved Fresco Community Market. Grab a snack, wander the grocery aisles, and take in a night of sharp, funny, and unforgettable stories, essays, and poems.

Hosted by Vanessa Anderson — the culinary anthropologist behind Grocery Goblin — the evening features a special introduction from Good Food’s Evan Kleiman and brings together voices from every corner of the food world: Bill Addison, Khushbu Shah, Tatiana Ettensberger, Meghan McCarron, and Jamie Feldmar.

Come early, wander the aisles, grab a snack, and pull up a chair Sunday, October 18th at 7:30 PM at Fresco Community Market!

Space is limited — Reserve your seat and join us for a night in the aisles!
