Your favorite Indigenous makers’ market is back at The Broad, in collaboration with The Chapter House.

Get a head start on holiday shopping at LA NDN Flea – A Native Market and celebrate National Native American History Month. Modeled after flea markets that can be found on many reservations, this market which takes place in spring and fall each year features unique, handcrafted goods by local and visiting Indigenous makers, from recycled clothing and handcrafted jewelry to original art and much more. Enjoy a hands-on Family Weekend Workshop inspired by Broad collection artist Jeffrey Gibson (Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Cherokee) and take home a free, limited-run poster featuring his work.

Connect with local Indigenous groups, dance to curated DJ sets, and enjoy food and beverage vendors. Nonprofit organizations and resource groups providing community support and information will also be onsite.

PLUS! After a weekend supporting Indigenous artists, spend Sunday evening across the street at REDCAT with a bellyful of laughs and a face full of false lashes at Sage-Based Drag Night with Jana Schmieding (Lakota), Brian Bahe (Diné/Hopi/Tohono O’odham), Landa Lakes (Chickasaw), Lady Shug (Navajo), Big Mama Tama (Hawaiian/Tahitian/Filipino/Chinese), and Bohenne Arreaux (Jena Choctaw). Sage-Based Drag Night is separately ticketed, and space is limited.
