This informative and inspiring festival aims to make the works of outstanding contemporary women writers accessible to a diverse audience of avid readers. It seeks to encourage new writers with talent and promise while celebrating the significance of literature in the lives of future readers. The festival was established in 1982 and is entirely run by volunteers.
