Moon Mine is a site-specific commissioned song cycle by Malik Gaines and Alexandro Segade. It will be performed live twice—Thursday, October 3, 2024 and Friday, October 4, 2024—at dusk at James Turrell's Skyspace Dividing the Light on the Pomona College campus. It traces the stories of two lunar travelers, each hoping to find their own destiny in the nighttime sky. Voices and instruments intermingle as our travelers find their cosmic yield is not what they expect.

Presented in conjunction with the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College PST ART: Art & Science Collide exhibition Open Sky.
