Join the Hilbert Museum for an evening of beautiful, relaxing classical guitar music in the midst of the Hilbert Museum galleries. Acclaimed Orange County-based classical guitarist Joseph Yashar returns to the Hilbert with a program of favorites. Yashar, who studied with two of the legendary Spanish guitarist Andres Segovia’s most noted disciples, began performing professionally in 1987. In addition to having performed at hundreds of events and concerts, he has also given recitals in numerous colleges and universities throughout Southern California, and has opened for Pacific Symphony at Segerstrom Concert Hall. Selections from his recordings are often aired on KUSC and other classical music stations.
