Join The Autry Museum of the American West for a conversation with local archivists, artists and researchers on the value of preserving the stories of our communities and the varied forms these archives take. Los Angeles County has 88 incorporated cities and over 100 unincorporated communities, with an estimated 500 neighborhoods. They’ve always been a crucial part of what makes Los Angeles unique, but recent events such as the January wildfires have made it clear how fragile some of these communities are.
