The Twentynine Palms Book Festival returns Nov. 13–15 with author talks, panel discussions, workshops, signings, and literary programs centered at the Twentynine Palms Community Center near Freedom Plaza. Additional sessions extend to locations including the Old Schoolhouse Museum, 29 Palms Inn, and other High Desert venues. Programming examines California landscapes, history, culture, and literary traditions while giving readers direct access to writers across genres. The weekend format makes the festival as much about place as books, linking storytelling to the desert communities, histories, and environments that inspire much of the conversation.
