PBS SoCal and LAist Present 'Weathered: Inside the LA Firestorm'

On Tuesday, March 12, PBS SoCal and LAist hosted a special screening of the new PBS Digital Studios documentary "Weathered: Inside the LA Firestorm" at KPCC's Crawford Family Forum. The event featured a post-screening conversation with host Maiya May, filmmaker Trip Jennings and several individuals featured in the film, offering an in-depth discussion about the personal and environmental impact of the recent wildfires.

LAist CEO Alejandra Santamaria joined members of the PBS SoCal Executive Team at the sold-out screening, which included many people directly affected by the recent fires in the region. Guests enjoyed burgers and teriyaki bowls generously provided by Fair Oaks Burger, a beloved Altadena institution that has supported the community in the wake of the LA wildfires.
