Ray Romano Directs and Stars in 'Somewhere in Queens,' Early Screening at the KCET Cinema Series

An in-person Q&A with Ray Romano, actor and the film's director, and co-writer Mark Stegemann immediately followed the screening on April 11.

Romano's "Somewhere in Queens" takes inspiration from his real-life family and growing up in Queens, New York. He was inspired by his own relationship with his son who played high school basketball, and he soon found himself becoming totally immersed in his son's high school athletic career.

Immediately following the screening, Deadline's chief film critic Pete Hammond, who can also be seen on KCET's Must See Movies, moderated a Q&A with actor and the film's director Ray Romano, and co-writer Mark Stegemann.
