The fire in the Angeles National Forest continues to grow. But more favorable weather, and a massive effort by firefighters is leading to optimism that destruction may be keep to a minimum.

Keep your fingers crossed. It's not out of danger yet, but firefighters are on the ground at Mt. Wilson. They've constructed some fire breaks and hope they'll be able to save the Observatory and broadcast towers at the top of the mountain.
