Link Voices: Utopia

John Pilger's voice has been a lifeline for some, a thorn in the side of others. He's a rabble-rouser, but his passion and uncompromising reporting style has drawn attention to issues no one knew about. Utopia is a harrowing film about the continued plight of aboriginals in Australia, and through Pilger we hear the voices of the impoverished native people whose story resonates with many in the U.S. It's similar to the plight of Native Americans.

Utopia is part of KCETLink's 'Link Voices,' a weekly presentation of globally-sourced documentary films. Link Voices airs nationally on Link TV (DirecTV 375 and DISH 9410) and KCET (Southern California) Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
