PBS SoCal Premieres Season Six of Variety Studio: Actors on Actors June 13

Series highlights conversations between distinguished television stars

LOS ANGELES, June 7, 2017 – PBS SoCal KOCE and Variety share the new season of Variety Studio: Actors on Actors, featuring exclusive one-on-one conversations between actors from this year’s most notable television programs. The sixth season of specials presents pairings of acclaimed actors talking to each other about their lives, their craft and their careers in two one-hour episodes airing back to back June 13.

Episode one features conversations between; Thandie Newton (Westworld) and Oprah Winfrey (The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks), Kevin Bacon (I Love Dick) and John Lithgow (The Crown), Sarah Jessica Parker (Divorce) and Michelle Pfeiffer (The Wizard of Lies), Freida Pinto (Guerrilla) and Milo Ventimiglia (This is Us), and Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) with Constance Zimmer (UnREAL).

Episode two features discussions between; Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies) and Ewan McGregor (Fargo), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) and Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld), Pamela Adlon (Better Things) and Sterling K. Brown (This is Us), Riz Ahmed (The Night Of) and Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid's Tale), Brit Marling (The OA) and Issa Rae (Insecure) and Anthony Anderson (Black-ish) with Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory).

Variety Studio: Actors on Actors is co-produced by PBS SoCal and Variety Media, LLC, and will premiere on PBS SoCal KOCE on Tuesday June 13 at 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. The two episodes will air on PBS stations nationally beginning in late June. Check local listings.
