Los Angeles, Calif. – November 17, 2023 KCET, Southern California’s flagship PBS station, announced today the debut of the final and tenth season of beloved fan-favorite series DOC MARTIN, as well as new episodes of SISTER BONIFACE MYSTERIES to premiere in December. Martin Clunes returns one more time as the surly and self-centered Dr. Martin Ellingham in this beloved British drama that has been beloved by audiences and one of KCET’s top performing series. The series has followed the trials and tribulations of a former hotshot surgeon who was forced to change careers and relocate to the charming town of Portwenn, where he has over the seasons clashed with the village's quirky inhabitants. The final season of DOC MARTIN will premiere on Thurs., Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. PT on KCET

As a special incentive and bonus to PBS Passport members, the eagerly anticipated tenth season was made available early by KCET and is currently available to stream for all PBS Passport members, along with seasons eight and nine.

Fans of DOC MARTIN are sure to also love SISTER BONIFACE MYSTERIES. A light-hearted murder mystery series starring a Vespa driving, crime solving Catholic nun: Sister Boniface. It's the 1960s and police forensics are rudimentary. Luckily the residents of Great Slaughter have a secret weapon in Sister Boniface. If there's evidence to be found, Boniface will find it, with a little help from dashing DI Sam Gillespie and buttoned-up Bermudan DS Felix Livingstone. New episodes from season two of SISTER BONIFACE MYSTERIES will premiere on Mon., Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. PT on KCET.

New episodes of the final season of DOC MARTIN will premiere as follows in the month of December (subject to change*):

“I Will Survive” – Thurs., Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. on KCET

It's been a year since Martin resigned his medical license and Louisa is now the one seeing patients for her child counseling practice. When the mother of one of Louisa's patients presents serious symptoms but refuses to allow Martin to examine her, he finally admits that he wants to be a doctor again.

“One Night Only” – Thurs., Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. on KCET

The Portwenn surgery has reopened, but things aren't running very smoothly. When Louisa's childhood dream home goes on the market, she jumps at the chance to look for a larger space and meets the house's owner, an accident-prone, recent widower who seems haunted by his wife's death, perhaps literally.

“How Long Has This Been Going On?” – Thurs., Dec. 28 at 8 p.m. on KCET

While checking on a local sheep farmer, the Doc runs into Stewart James, a patient who used to suffer from delusions who is now starting a survival course business. Stewart invites Al and PC Penhale to join him in the woods for a test run.
