Screening and Panel Discussion of 'Caregiving'

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025 PBS SoCal partnered with WETA, Well Beings and the Wallis Annenberg GenSpace to host a screening and panel discussion of "Caregiving," a new PBS documentary executive produced by actor Bradley Cooper (“A Star is Born,” “The Hangover,” “American Sniper”).

More than 150 guests gathered at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion in Koreatown for the event, which explored the lived experiences of caregivers, the many forms care can take and the history of caregiving in the U.S. Following the screening, a discussion panel was moderated by Executive Director of Annenberg Foundation Panel Caregiver Cinny Kinnard with Senior Advisor of the Milken Institute Paul Irving, co-host of Entertainment Tonight Leeza Gibbons, home care provider for Comfort Keepers Christine Fadriga and award-winning filmmaker of the program, Chris Durrance.

They discussed the urgent need for greater support across the caregiving industry, noting that the film was recently screened at the United Nations to advocate for greater resources and support for all sides of caregiving.
