Tony Brown is the Executive Director of Heart of Los Angeles, overseeing over 70 full" and part"time staff, who annually work together with more than 600 volunteers to provide 2,400 underserved youth with exceptional out of school/after school academic, arts and athletics programs that help transform their lives. He began his relationship with HOLA in 1992, creating athletics and enrichment programs after earning a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University's College of Communications. He then moved into the classroom where he taught numerous grade levels at schools around the country and served as the athletic director and as a coach for private schools, while owning and managing several successful camp programs.
