The United States racked up almost 3,000 incidents of antisemitic behavior in 2021 -- the highest number recorded in over 40 years. Deborah Lipstadt, professor of modern Jewish history and Holocaust studies at Emory University, is the newly appointed Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism.
