Author Laurie Halse Anderson on Her Memoir "Shout"
Award-winning author Laurie Halse Anderson discusses how sexual abuse can shame many into silence, and why she named her new memoir recounting her own personal experience with sexual abuse, “Shout.” Anderson's first book, "Speak," a teen fiction novel about a rape survivor, was a worldwide phenomenon and sent her on a speaking tour of high schools around the U.S. to talk about sexual assault.
